After a year of what seems to have been a constant state of limbo, 2021 is finally beginning to look upwards. Here at Central Outreach Wellness Center, we are striving to continue with ever-changing health care practices that are game changers in the way we are helping to eradicate the spread and stigma of STDs and HIV/AIDS.
We are pleased to announce the start of our new initiative, PrEP2ME (Powered by Central Outreach Wellness Center). This “tele-PrEP” service is available nationwide and encourages routine check ins with a physician here at the office. And even better, there is no out-of-pocket charge. It’s a new alternative to those who are having difficulty coming in to the clinic to be seen or are newer to the community and have questions.
Central Outreach Wellness Center seeks to remove every obstacle possible to patients who are at a high risk for HIV in receiving PrEP and PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis), the two most important medications to prevent HIV available today, through the PrEP 2 Me service.
