Hi! We are so excited that ANDS member Kieran (@kieran.pginpgh) has offered to run a one-shot session of the table top role playing game “Never Going Home.”
Saturday, April 5th
1:30PM – 4:30PM
at CLP East Liberty (upstairs meeting room)
This is a totally beginner-friendly session! No prior experience or preparation is required. We will have all the necessary materials ready for you!
Invitation from Kieran:
Hey persons!
I’m Kieran and I’d like to invite y’all to a spoopy experience playing “Never Going Home” — a wartime adventuring roleplaying game with very simple mechanics and an abundance of occult shenanigans, conflict, and confrontations with identity.
I plan on running a module involving an HQ-directed quest for the legendary Excalibur in the area of Flanders, where it’s rumored to be in the clutches of a veritable warrior queen whose rule guarantees a strange peace.
Please do not worry about historical accuracy as anything will be accommodated, especially queer and POC characters during what is otherwise the start of the 20th century, an era particularly rife with colonialism.
Horror is an expected theme of the RP, but, with communication among players and myself, I will ensure at what level the intensity and what elements are desired to not be included.
Please stop in and play if this intrigues!
Ciao
