Ronald “Ronny” Campbell

For years, Ronny Campbell has been an integral part of the Steel City Softball League, wearing many hats to ensure its success. His leadership roles—Secretary, Commissioner, and member of the ratings committee—highlight his dedication to the league’s growth and inclusivity. But his contributions don’t stop there.
Ronny has personally sponsored multiple teams, ensuring that financial barriers never prevented someone from joining the league and experiencing the joy of the game. His passion for community sports extends beyond softball—he also captained Ball in the Family, a highly successful team in Stonewall Kickball.
From leadership to direct financial support, Ronny embodies what it means to uplift a community. His commitment, generosity, and unwavering support make him an undeniable Hall of Fame inductee.
5801 Video Lounge

A Pittsburgh staple, 5801 Video Lounge has been a long-time supporter of the Steel City Softball League, providing team sponsorships, event space, and a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Beyond its role in the league, 5801 is a beacon for Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ community. More than just a bar, it’s a safe space—a venue where queer individuals and allies can gather, celebrate, and forge lifelong connections. Over the years, 5801 has hosted countless fundraisers, community events, and celebrations, strengthening the bonds that hold Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ scene together.
Through its commitment to inclusivity, acceptance, and advocacy, 5801 has cemented its place not just in the Hall of Fame, but also in the hearts of those it has supported.
The Steel City Softball League’s Hall of Fame induction isn’t just about recognizing achievements—it’s about honoring the people and places that make the Steel City Softball League and the greater LGBTQ+ Pittsburgh community stronger. Whether it’s through leadership and sponsorship like Ronny’s or providing a gathering space and unwavering support like 5801, these inductees have shaped the league into what it is today.
