Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation is Back with Rainbow Turkey Bag Delivery

Get ready to Celebrate Friendsgiving with the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation.

The Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation announced the return for the upcoming holiday season of their Rainbow Turkey Bags. Returning for its second year, the foundation will be preparing holiday meals for LGBTQ+ community members in need in the Greater Pittsburgh area with the help of staff and local volunteers. Originally started as a response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation will be shopping for supplies for a fully customizable holiday dinner for those that sign up with registration starting Monday, October 18th.

The Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation continues to support LGBTQ+ community members with programs such as legal aid services, youth and family services, training and education, and direct resource programs which include hygiene and safer sex kits, emergency assistance, and Hugh’s Kitchen weekly grocery program, which has supplied over 4,000 bags of groceries in the area.
