Pride is nowhere near over!

We’re halfway through Pride Month and we aren’t done celebrating! Here’s how you can celebrate your Pride this weekend!

Friday, June 17

Pride Night at PNC Park

Game at 7:05 PM, happy hour at Mike’s Beer Bar 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The Pirates have teamed up with local LGBTQ nonprofits in support of Pride Night. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit that organization. The first 20,000 fans in the park receive a special Pirates Pride t-shirt. QBurgh will be there! Stop by and grab a magazine for FREE if you haven’t gotten a copy yet!

The earliest documented LGBTQ Night at a Pirates game was July 16, 1980 as advertised in this ad that appeared in the June 1980 issue of Pittsburgh’s Out. Help us preserve Pittsburgh’s Queer history!

The Big Queer Improv Show

Arcade Comedy Theater, 8:00 PM – 9:15 PM

The Big Queer Improv Show celebrates featuring improv by Pittsburgh’s queerest and funniest improvisers. Each show features a queer performer whose life’s story inspires improvised mayhem. The guest for this show is QBurgh’s own Chrissy Costa, a comedian, writer, and humor columnist known for her dry wit, self-deprecating humor, and big earrings.

RuPaul’s All Stars Viewing Party

5801 Video Lounge, 8:00 PM

Come watch these queens slay the runway each week as you cheer on your favorite queens and find out who is going to snatch the ultimate all-winners crown!

Mt. Lebo Pride

QBurgh is a proud sponsor of the first annual Lebo Pride Celebration taking place on Saturday, June 18, 9am-2pm at Clearview Commons. Come celebrate with your LGBTQIA+ neighbors and allies at an all-ages event focused on Celebration, Education, and Visibility. It will feature music, art, food, interactive activities, and more. Pride Brunch at Kingfly Spirits

S&S Productions Presents PRIDE Brunch at Kingfly Spirits, Saturday, June 18, 2022. What better way to celebrate Pride month than brunching with the kings and queens at Kingfly Spirits. Don’t miss this fierce and fabulous show full of local, national, and televised talent.

Pride Millvale

Grant Avenue, Butler Street, and Sheridan Street, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Hop on over to the second annual Pride Millvale! This will be a day-long celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. This event aims at highlighting Millvale’s “safe spaces and faces”, showcasing the businesses and organizations within our town and surrounding areas that value diversity and work hard at nourishing inclusive environments for all that come through– all while standing in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ youth and adults both near and far! Live music, food, drink specials, an artisan fair, painting, games, giveaways, performances from queer artists. QBurgh will there! Come say hi and grab a FREE magazine!

HRC Open House

Come meet members of HRC’s Pittsburgh area to learn more about how you can get involved in the Human Rights Campaign in Pennsylvania as we fight for full LGBTQ+ equality both federally and in our great state of Pennsylvania.

OUTrageous Bingo

Rodef Shalom Congregation, 6:30 – 10:00 PM

This ain’t your grandma’s bingo! Grab a friend and join the LGBTQ+ community and its allies in Pittsburgh for an OUTrageous evening of Bingo and entertainment! QBurgh will be on hand snapping pictures for our Faces and Places column!
