Crafton Joins The Growing List To Protect LGBTQ Citizens

In a unanimous vote 7 – 0, Crafton Borough Council adopted an LGBTQ inclusive nondiscrimination ordinance at their Borough Council meeting last night.

Crafton is the fifth municipality in Allegheny County to pass an LGBTQ inclusive nondiscrimination ordinance joining the City of Pittsburgh, Ross Township, Mt. Lebanon and Etna. They are also the 62nd municipality across Pennsylvania to do so.

The ordinance was spearheaded by Craft Councilmembers Anthony Saba and Edward Alo, who are also a married couple.

Remember that Sharpsburg Borough failed to pass an LGBTQ inclusive nondiscrimination ordinance in October. Shame on Sharpsburg.
