Despite a slightly soggy field to start the day, the opening day of the 40th season of the Steel City Softball League was met with good weather and a cookout. With eleven teams playing six games, the season opener was full of fun and everyone was thankful to be back on the field post-pandemic. View team photos, week 1 standings and more below.
