Be Gay Do Crime Productions (BGDC) is embarking on an exciting new chapter as it joins forces with Proud Haven, a prominent LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization in the Pittsburgh region. This partnership marks BGDC’s transition to a fiscally sponsored project of Proud Haven, which will provide essential resources and infrastructure support. The collaboration aims to bolster Proud Haven’s mission of providing shelter and support for LGBTQ+ individuals while empowering BGDC to continue creating inclusive, memorable experiences for the LGBTQ+ community.
To celebrate this new chapter, BGDC is launching a three-show season this fall at the renowned Mr. Smalls Funhouse. The season will feature the return of the beloved “Fairweather Family Funder Dome,” an open-stage competition series that has become a favorite in the Pittsburgh drag scene.
Show Dates and Times:
- Show 1: September 13th; Doors open at 9:00 PM (18+)
- Show 2: October 11th; Doors open at 9:00 PM (18+)
- Show 3: December 13th; Doors open at 9:00 PM (Happy Holidays – All Ages)
Tickets are available with a suggested donation of $5.00.
The season kicks off on Friday, September 13th, with the first installment of the “Fairweather Family Fun-der Dome” at Mr. Smalls Theatre, located at 400 Lincoln Ave, 2nd Floor, Millvale, PA 15209. This event, open to individuals aged 18 and older, promises a night of thrilling performances and community spirit. Doors open at 9:00 PM, and a $5.00 suggested donation can be made online or at the door.
