Pittsburgh Equality Center Hosts “Race” to Get Out the Vote

The Pittsburgh Equality Center is encouraging the LGBTQ Community to “exercise” the right to vote with a “race” to get out the vote and raise funds for the Center.

“Runners” can sign up and receive a rainbow mask made by Honor Your Body Wellness, a rainbow headband, and an RBG inspired Vote T-shirt for participating and completing the race simply by voting!

The “race” can be completed by voting by mail, voting early at one of Allegheny County’s satellite election offices, or voting on November 3rd at your polling place.

All proceeds from the “race” go to support the programming of the Pittsburgh Equality Center and we all know our LGBTQ non-profits have been struggling to make it through the Covid-19 pandemic.
