Mayes Sworn in as Pennsylvania’s First Out Lesbian State Representative

State Representative La'Tasha Mayes.

At noon today in Harrisburg, La’Tasha Mayes (D – Morningside) was sworn in as State Representative for Pennsylvania State House District 24 which includes parts of the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of the Hill District, Oakland, Bloomfield, Morningside, Highland Park, East Liberty, and Homewood.
