It’s the last weekend of June. You didn’t think the Pride celebrations were over yet did you? You’re going to be busy for one more weekend! Here’s how to close out Pride month in style!

Friday, June 24

Pride Comedy Night

6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bigham Tavern, 321 Bigham Street.

Join Bigham Tavern for their second stand-up comedy show. Showcasing some of the funniest queer comics in Pittsburgh. Hosted by Matty Malloy, this show will feature performances from QBurgh’s own Chrissy Costa, Joe Esch, Asher O’Briant, Abby Hannis and Peggy Walkush.

Jellyfish

8:30 pm, P Town

Dancing starts at 8:30! Featuring Jellyfish DJs Stephanie Tsong and Ricky Moslen and guests DJ Wawa from NYC and Kewshi Nana!


Saturday, June 25

Chosen Family Cookout for LGBTQ+ Youth & Families

1:00 – 4:00 pm, Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation, 925 Brighton Road

This event is for youth & families to celebrate themselves and pride. LGBTQIA2S+ youth are encouraged to invite their chosen families. LGBTQIA2S+ parents and caregivers are welcome to bring their children too. The people you love and those that love you are your chosen family.

Activities for all ages, food, and entertainment. Lavender Graduation will take place during the cookout to honor graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated dedication to the health & wellbeing of LGBTQ+ communities.

Scottdale Pride 2022

1:00 – 5:00 pm, Bad Rabbit Cafe, 143 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pennsylvania

You read that right! Celebrate Scottdale’s Second Annual Pride Event happening on June 25th at Bad Rabbit Cafe and Roastery! This event will have entertainment, food, art, information regarding the LGBTQ+ community, and educational opportunities through speakers and vendors.

Like a Rainbow – Renaissance City Choir’s 2022 Pride Concert

2:00 pm, East Liberty Presbyterian Church

You’re invited to join the Renaissance City Choir for their 2022 Pride Concert, Like A Rainbow. They’ll share meaningful, celebratory, and powerful music for the season in their first in-person Pride concert since June 2019. It’s the perfect way to wind down a joyous Pride Month!

Dormont Spark/Pride

2:00 – 8:00 pm, Potomac Avenue, Dormont

QBurgh is the proud media sponsor of Dormont Spark/Pride! Join Dormont Arts and the Dormont LGBTQ Community Committee, a project of the Dormont Community Development Corporation, for a one-of-a-kind FREE event that will provide an afternoon of visual arts, featured in local businesses, LGBT-friendly entertainment, music, vendors, food, and much more to our community.

Rainbow Unicorn Pride Event

2:00 pm, Rainbow Unicorn, 869 Main Street, Follansbee, West Virginia

Join Rainbow Unicorn in Follansbee, WV for their all day Pride celebration. Kicking off at 2:00 pm with family-friendly and all-ages activities.

Dandy Andy: Warhol’s Queer History

3:00 pm, Andy Warhol Museum

Join artist educators for Dandy Andy, a monthly tour that focuses on Warhol’s queer history. While his sexuality is frequently suppressed or debated, Warhol was a gay man who had several partners throughout his life. Warhol’s boyfriends, including Edward Wallowitch, John Giorno, and Jed Johnson, were also his colleagues and collaborators, helping to shape and define his career as an artist. This tour traces Warhol’s romantic relationships and queer identity against the backdrop of the historical gay rights movement in the United States. Tours meet on the museum’s seventh floor.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC 6th Annual Pride Night

5:00 pm, Game kick-off at 7:00 pm, Highmark Stadium

Come out for the Riverhounds SC 6th Annual Pride Night on Saturday, June 25, 2022! Enjoy one of the first nights of summer taking in the beautiful city views at Highmark Stadium and cheering on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC along with our city’s LGBTQIA+ community and allies. QBurgh will be on hand snapping photos and tickets benefit local LGBTQ organizations.

Westmoreland Pride Prom

6:00 – 9:00 pm, Westmoreland Museum, 221 N. Main Street, Greensburg.

Show off your best moves at this dance party with DJ Liz Maday, which will also feature a special performance at 7:30pm by dance-pop singer-songwriter, Bryce Bowyn, emceeing by Drag Queens Tootsie Snyder and Alora Chateaux, and a fashion show. Come dressed in your best Pride and Prom fashions, and pick up prom flowers provided by Kaitlin Shutlz for a suggested donation to the Museum. Prizes will be awarded for Best Pride Attire, Best Prom Attire, and Best Dance Moves. This event is all ages.

Pride Fling + Sing

7:00 – 10:00 pm, Trace Brewing and P Town

The Pride Fling and Sing is a 2 part event that is sure to end Pride Month with a bang! First, from 7-10pm at Trace Brewing, will be opening the night with the comedy styling of local Comedian Jo Rodriquez!!! Followed by a trio of awesome Drag Kings and Queens featuring: Glitter Devil, Victoria Van Cartier, and Danielle Attme! Don’t forget to tip your Kings & Queens!

After the Fling at Trace, migrate to the Sing at P Town for an evening of Karaoke and some more dancing & fun! This part of the event is free of charge and will begin around 10:30pm and concludes at 2am Sunday! 

Brazen & Black: Pride Comedy Show

8:00 pm, Arcade Comedy Theater

A Celebration of Black Female Infused Comedy – Shaun McCarthy presents a special night of stand-up comedy featuring some of the funniest women and femmes that Pittsburgh has to offer.


Sunday, June 26

Queer Saints / Stonewall Abbey Summer Hike

9:00 am, Allegheny Arsenal Cemetery 

Join the Pittsburgh Queer Saints / Stonewall Abbey for their first hike of the summer. The hike will be to explore the historic Allegheny Arsenal Cemetery and learn more about those who have lived in this city before us! 

Ultimate Frisbee Mix-Up Event

11:00 am – 4:00 pm, McKinley Park, Bausman Street

Come play Ultimate Frisbee with Stonewall Sports Pittsburgh at McKinley Park as they explore adding Ultimate Frisbee to their roster of offered sports leagues.

PRIDE BLOWOUT DRAG BRUNCH & PARTY

12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, New Amsterdam

Brunch and then an all-day, free, party? Yeah, let’s close out Pride with a BLOWOUT!
