You Matter: A Community Conversation on LGBTQIA+ Health Equity with Admiral Rachel Levine, M.D.

September 29 @ 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm

In You Matter: A Community Conversation on LGBTQIA+ Health Equity, Admiral Levine will talk about how healthcare practices, public attitudes, and laws shape our experience with and access to affirming care, mental health support, and preventive services. She will also address how these pressures show up outside of healthcare settings, including on college campuses.

The evening opens with brief remarks from Admiral Levine, followed by a moderated discussion and audience questions. This event is offered in conjunction with the Combating Hate Series from the Office of the Vice Provost for Community, Culture and Engagement.

Admiral Levine served as the 17th Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 2021 to 2025 and, before that, as Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health. She is a pediatrician with four decades of clinical and public health experience.

Everyone is welcome.
