The Living End Screening

June 19 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Signal Otter Films are working with Strand Releasing and the Soft Spot on June 19 to bring you a screening of The Living End (1992), Gregg Araki’s seminal queer classic!

Starring Craig Gilmore, Mike Dytri, and Darcy Marta, two HIV-positive young men — a semi-employed film critic and a hot hustler — tear off on a cross-country crime spree.

Gregg Araki’s third feature premiered at Sundance in 1992 and is recognized as an early entry in the canon of New Queer Cinema. Even now, more than 30 years after its initial release, the film remains as confrontational, anarchic, and alive as ever.

Doors at 7pm. Screening starts at 8pm.
Snacks and drinks for sale before and after the screening, courtesy of the Soft Spot. Please mask when not eating or drinking, and stay home if you’re sick.

Limited pay-what-you-can tickets at the door.

$12 cover or pay what you can.
