Songs & Stories Open Mic Storytelling: Stories of Pride

June 6 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Dormont Arts for our first storytelling event in our Songs & Stories series. Grab the mic and tell a short story related to Pride!

This is an exciting Open Mic Storytelling event and a part of our Songs & Stories series! Two registration types are available: Storyteller, where you are signing up to share a short story with the audience, or Audience, where you are there to just take it all in, laugh, and cry with us!

All events are open to the public and free of charge, but registration is required as these have a limited capacity. Want to support more programs like this? Consider making a donation at checkout!

Experience the magic of storytelling, drama, and live music at Dormont Arts’ Songs & Stories! Join us for unforgettable personal storytelling, live music, and engaging theatre!

Immerse yourself in the power of narrative and all the laughter and tears with three captivating storytelling open mic nights. Two of these events are thoughtfully themed to embrace and celebrate the diversity of our community. In June, join us for an inspiring LGBTQIA+ storytelling event, celebrating the rich tapestry of queer voices. Then, in September, in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, our stage will be open to Latinx community members to share their stories, passions, and heritage. Finally, in December, come together to celebrate the warmth and richness (and ridiculousness!) of family tales.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of these enriching cultural experiences! Reserve your spot now and prepare to be transported by the artistry of words and music.

Free! Registration encouraged due to limited capacity.
