It’s not every day that someone turns 40. Well, maybe that does happen every day. Anyway, it’s not every day that a specific person turns 40. In fact, it’s not today either because it happened a few months ago. Anyway, anyway, we are belatedly celebrating the 40th birthday of local lesbian icon Siobhan Genesis. Instead of inviting all of her friends, she’s inviting you! One of her lifelong dreams has been to be a DJ, so we’re asking everyone to come dance and pretend that she’s dropping the bangiest bangers you’ve ever heard (come on, it’s her birthday sort of). There will be snacks, S-tier vibes, and probably some surprise performances or other shenanigans.

We’re kicking it all off in the late afternoon, so there’s no need to stay up all night partying. This is a 40-year-old woman we’re talking about — she’s gotta get to bed. We’re asking for a (voluntary) five bucks at the door to cover expenses. Any extra proceeds will go to local charities.
