Bonnie grew up in Avella, PA, less than 20 minutes away at a time when a place like the Rainbow Unicorn could never exist. While many queer artists leave small towns and never return, this is a homecoming that marks growth, change, and visibility for a community that cares for their homeland, and deserves endless support! Ghosts of Appalachia is a tour showcasing what’s new and transforming Americana. These two artists are taking their upbringing and experiences from throughout Appalachia and bringing them to the places they love. Come dance and cry to new and original bops and sing along to highly imaginative reworked classics from legends like Linda Perry all the way to the Cure.
