Palestine Solidarity Passover Seder

April 26 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Join us for Ratzon’s Palestine Solidarity Seder, an opportunity to engage with the Passover story and ritual through the lens of collective liberation beyond zionism. We’ll grapple with the current genocide and ongoing Nakba in Palestine, hold space for grief, weave stories of resistance and freedom, and dream of a world free from state violence, supremacy, and subjugation. Next year in collective liberation; next year may all be free.

We extend this invitation to our community, both Jewish and not, to gather around the table with us for the Jewish holiday of Passover. Ritual foods and a chametz-free* meal will be provided in collaboration with our friends from Food Not Bombs (@pghfnb).

Accessibility: The seder will take place the East End of Pittsburgh (RSVP for location) and is wheelchair accessible. See the form linked above for rideshare support. We are asking folks to mask when not eating and kindly request that you not come if you’re not feeling well. The capacity for this event is ~50 spots.

If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to send us an email at ratzonpgh@gmail.com.

*leavened foods that many Jewish people avoid on Passover. Some dishes may contain kitniyot. If you have questions about the meal, its preparation, etc. please feel free to e-mail us.
