Element Permanently Closes

The pandemic seems to have claimed another small, local business. The Shadyside bar Element appears to be officially closed for good.

Element, formerly Spin Bartini, closed in March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic first forced businesses across the country to close and they never reopened at the various times over the year when restrictions were eased.

The website for Element also appears to be down. Visitors are greeted with a message that the website is “under construction”. We have reached out to Element for comment and will update this story if and when we hear back.
