Dixie Surewood Reigns as City Paper’s Best Drag Performer 2023

The Pittsburgh City Paper’s much anticipated annual “Best of Pittsburgh” issue was released today and Dixie Surewood was named Best Drag Performer 2023 by readers.

“It’s really nice to know that people appreciate, not only what I do, but what other drag performers do in the city,” Surewood told the City Paper. Congratulations to Dixie! Long may she reign!

Jose Queervo and Calipso were voted first and second alternates respectively.

  • Best Health Advocacy Group: 1st Central Outreach Wellness Center, 3rd Metro Community Health Center
