Community Safety Alert: Use Caution When Meeting Up Through Apps

Allegheny County Police are urging QBurgh readers and the community to use caution when meeting up for dates from popular apps such as Grindr and Hinge. Always be aware and cognizant of your drink while on a date. We have been made aware of an alleged suspect with two known victims operating in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh and the northern and southern suburbs of Allegheny County.

If you believe that you have been the victim of a crime committed by someone you met on a dating or hookup app, please contact Allegheny County Police at 412-473-1224. Please share this community alert on your social media platforms.
