Ask Central Outreach

What if I want to seek therapy or something of the sort but don't have a consistent schedule?

Q: “What if I want to seek therapy or something of the sort but don’t have a consistent schedule?”

Ah, yes – therapy.  This word conjures quite a bit of feelings for many members of the LGBTQIA+ community.  For some, trauma; for others, hope.  Yet, to be seen by a therapist can be a whole other battle some might just not want to deal with.

For those that have an inconsistent schedule, many medical providers including therapists have adopted the notion of Tele-Health visits through many of the area’s leading health care providers, including Central Outreach Wellness Center.

Rather than having to run about town and dash to your appointments, you can simply turn your phone on, enter a “virtual waiting room” via Zoom, and presto – you are in your therapy session.

When initially meeting with a therapist, they want to be able to make sure your needs are being met with regards to consistency of how often you would like to see your therapist.  Maybe you are going through a rough time, and feel inclined to see a therapist weekly, or perhaps you just need a monthly check-in.  Regardless of the situation, most therapists are able to accommodate.

At Central Outreach Wellness Center, we have a team of therapists that are happy to assist you in your own personal journey.
