The Fall 2025 season of Stonewall Ultimate concluded under dramatic skies on Wednesday, November 5, with an evening of weather delays, intense matchups, and a community-focused awards ceremony that reflected the spirit and strength of the league.
Finals Night began with a weather delay as heavy rain and wind swept through the area, pushing the start time back by 30 minutes. Once the skies cleared, the lights came on, a full moon rose, and play resumed on the fields with renewed energy and focus.
Three placement games capped off the season. In the 5th and 6th place match, the Kpop Demon Huckers delivered a decisive 11–5 win over the Ultimate Furbys, finishing their season on a high note. The third and fourth place contest between the Disc-O Ballers and Isaly’s Chipped Hammers was closely contested, with the Ballers securing a 6–4 victory.
The championship match between Backhanded Compliments and the Scoober Goobers drew the evening’s largest crowd. Both teams came out strong, but the Goobers maintained control throughout the second half to take the title with a 12–8 win. A standout moment came during a drawn-out second-half point that showcased both teams’ skill, endurance, and strategic depth.
