Free Legal Support for Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ+ Community

Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation Launches Legal Clinics in December and January

As we approach a pivotal moment, with the inauguration of President Donald Trump looming on January 20th, the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation is stepping up to support Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ+ community. They’re hosting a series of free LGBTQ+ Legal Clinics in December and early January, offering vital assistance with name changes, ID documents, wills, estates, and the broader legal process.

This initiative is all about empowering queer individuals to navigate the legal landscape and assert their rights—because let’s be real, queer folks deserve every tool in the toolbox, especially in these challenging times.

The clinics will focus on:

  • Name Changes: Get help updating your name legally to match your identity.
  • ID Document Assistance: Resolve issues with identification documents, like gender markers.
  • Wills & Estates Planning: Ensure your future and your loved ones are legally protected.

Each clinic is free of charge, and registration is open to anyone in need of these services.
