Have you been wanting to make a zine but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you are currently working on one but need extra motivation to finally get it done. If so, come join me at the Sapphic Zine Making Jam I’m hosting at The Soft Spot on Wednesday, July 29th from 6 PM – 9 PM!

💝 Location: The Soft Spot (5407 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206)

💝 Time: 6 PM – 9 PM

💝 Supplies: All of the basic supplies needed to create a zine will be provided at the event! This includes paper, pencils, pens, markers, stickers, glue sticks, scissors, & tools to smooth out creases. I highly encourage you to bring your own supplies from home too if you have a specific idea in mind for what you would like your zine to look like!

💝 What IS a zine?: A zine is a small DIY magazine or booklet! Often being only a few pages long and with a lot of room for creativity. A zine could be drawings, scribbles, collage art, writing, some thoughts just jotted down… or really anything! So long as it can go on a piece of paper, it can go into a zine. You choose the direction, feeling, and look of it with your own hand.

💝 Am I welcome to join?: No matter where you fall under the umbrella of sapphic, if you identify even a little bit with the label, then please come and attend!! Sapphics of all kinds are embraced here.
