Tu B’Av Queer Clothing Swap
Tu B’Av is an ancient Jewish festival of love. While we may no longer borrow white clothing and dance in the vineyards in search of romance (Mishnah Ta’anit 4:8), we’re honoring the spirit of the holiday with a queer clothing swap. Come swap and build community — everyone respectful of the space’s intentions is welcome.
Feel free to bring up to two bags of gently-used clothing. All not-swapped clothing will be donated.
This event is free, but we welcome donations to al-Qaws, a queer, grassroots Palestinian organization. As queer, antizionist Jews honoring Tu B’Av, we feel it’s important to push back against pinkwashing. 💖
