Rain clouds rolled into Forest Hills on Sunday, but they couldn’t dampen the spirit of the borough’s third annual Pride celebration. Community members, families, neighbors, and allies gathered at Westinghouse Lodge for an afternoon of drag, live music, local vendors, food, and connection, with many simply moving under the pavilion as showers passed through. With Dancing Queen’s disco soundtrack and dozens of community organizations welcoming attendees, Forest Hills Pride once again proved that queer joy shines through, rain or shine.
