Today, 5801 Video Lounge and Cafe in Shadyside announced the retirement of co-owner Darin Smith in July and that Graham Miller would be joining the 5801 family as new co-owner along side Ralph Morrow.

“With bittersweet emotions and a profound sense of gratitude, the 5801 family would like to formally announce that founding co-owner and community friend Darin Smith will be retiring in July,” 5801 said in a statement posted on their Facebook page.

“For over 16 years, Darin Smith and Ralph Morrow have worked tirelessly together to create a unique and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to gather, eat, drink and celebrate… While Darin begins the transition towards his next adventures, we will also be welcoming a new co-owner to the team. Graham Miller will begin working alongside Ralph to continue building on the foundation that has been created over the last decade and a half.”

QBurgh wishes a congratulations to Darin on a well deserved retirement and a heartfelt welcome to Graham on this new endeavor.
