5801 Makes Donations to Hugh Lane Wellness, Planned Parenthood, Allies for Health + Wellbeing

5801 Video Lounge announced their total donations from Pride month activities to three local non-profits doing the work for the LGBTQ Community of Western Pennsylvania.

“We donated over $3,000 to Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation through our sales of wristbands, specialty drinks, and the Two Frays Brewery Queer Beer,” bar management said in a social media post. 5801 had partnered with Two Frays Brewery to create the New England IPA “Queer Beer” with a portion of each can or draft purchased going to Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation.

5801 also partnered with Titos Vodka for their “Celebrate Pride” month-long promotion with Allies for Health + Wellbeing receiving a donation of $1,881.

“We are fortunate to live in a city where so many organizations work tirelessly to improve our LGBTQ+ community. Though Pride Month has ended, we’re immensely proud to continue contributing in our own small way to their causes,” 5801’s posting concluded.

In addition to the monetary contribution, 5801 also supported Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania’s fundraising gala with a donation beer, wine, and liquor.
