The Steel City Softball League concluded its 2023 Season this past weekend.

Congratulations to the Penetrators (Upper Division), Gracie Lou Freebushes (Middle Division), and Growlers (Lower Division) for not only winning the regular season as champions but also winning their respective division playoffs as well.

It was a great season and a great time for all.  Details to follow at the annual end-of-the-year banquet which will be held soon.

Next up on the agenda for the Steel City Softball League is its appearance at the 2023 NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series in Minneapolis, Minnesota coming up at the end of August.  There will be 225 teams from 54 cities across the US and Canada in this year’s Series.   Best of luck to the Penetrators who will be representing the SCSL this year.

Thank you to outgoing Commissioner Ronny Campbell for all his hard work. Also, a big thank you to Assistant Commissioners Cassie Lloyd and Becs Powers and the entire board.

P Town Bar ‘Raided’ During Queer Event Featuring Amanda Lepore. The night became a moment of resistance, solidarity, and improvisational beauty.
