Happy Lil Canvases by Jess.

QBurgh is once again a proud sponsor of the Handmade Arcade Holiday Market. Each year QBurgh has the privilege of donating our booth to a young queer artist or crafter for the event.  This year’s QBurgh artist Jess Schweitzer. Jess is a Pittsburgh-based artist who is the owner and operator of Happy Lil Canvases. She uses a unique blend of art to create a playful mix of stickers, gifts, prints and illustrations.

The 20th annual Handmade Arcade Holiday Market returns this weekend. At the Holiday Market, you can shop from more than 275 makers selling handcrafted clothing, accessories, art, home decor, jewelry, body products, and more unique items you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a full day of shopping, hands-on art-making, and incredible live art demos.

The event starts on the evening of Friday, December 6, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Attendees can meet the makers and browse the market before anyone else.

On December 7, there is Early Bird Shopping from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., and then the main event from 11:00 to 6:00 p.m. Admission to the main event is free with time ticketing on their website. Other special times are available at a nominal cost.

Please visit Jess’s booth in the Holiday Market and support your local craft makers, artists, and small businesses.
