Penetrators and Notorious RBG Teams Win Steel City Softball 2022 Playoffs

End of season banquet and pageant September 17 at Brewer's.

It was the perfect day for softball on August 27, 2022, when the Steel City Softball League were able to finally finish their season playoffs in North Park. The remaining teams from the previous week’s competition took to the fields and the Champions were crowned. Congratulations to all the teams for their hard-fought effort this year. In the Competitive playoffs, it was the Penetrators that prevailed over the Little Pigs that morning. In the Recreational playoffs, it was the Notorious Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s defeating the Outcry later that afternoon.

Next up for the League is their end-of-season banquet and the return of their annual Steel City Softball League Pageant. These both will be held at Brewers on Saturday, September 17, starting at 6:00 PM. A reminder that at this year’s pageant there will be a new annual title called “Miss Steel City Softball Amateur.” This new title is open to any new and aspiring drag queen. Further information can be found on the League’s website.

The League would like to thank all the players, managers, fans, sponsors, and board members who made this season fun and enjoyable. Plans are already being made for an even bigger and better 2023.
