Mary Bockovich (she/her) has been named CEO of Allies for Health + Wellbeing. Mary previously served as chief operations officer and chief development officer of the organization and has worked for PATF/Allies for nearly half her career.

“Mary has shown exceptional dedication to the mission and cause of Allies for Health + Wellbeing for many years, and there is no one more qualified to lead the organization into the future,” said Bart Rauluk, Allies board president.

Mary has over 35 years of nonprofit experience, predominantly in the human services sector.

Following a five-year tenure as a case worker at Catholic Charities, Mary moved into fund development in 1994. Since then, she has served as Director of Development for Girl Scouts SWPA, KidsVoice, Familylinks, and Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force. Mary’s years of development experience span donor relations, annual giving, special events, grant writing, and the agencies’ communications functions.

“I am both humbled and thrilled by the opportunity to serve as Allies CEO,” Mary said. “Allies has an extraordinary history of service, advocacy and impact, and I look forward to building on that tradition in a meaningful way. We have an incredible team at Allies, and I am excited about what we can accomplish together.”

Mary’s demonstrated dedication, leadership and vision have been instrumental to Allies’ successes over the years, and the board and staff are confident that she will excel in this new role.

Mary is a native of southwestern PA and a graduate of Duquesne University.  She resides in Washington County with her life partner, Frank, and their dog, Winston.
