Sunday May 24
Bigger Gayer Picniq
1:00 – 7:00 PM @ ALLEGHENY COMMONS PARK WEST

Pittsburgh’s BIGGER GAYER PICNIQ returns for its third year on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 1 to 7 p.m. at 810 Arch St. on the North Side. The Memorial Day weekend celebration will feature a picnic buffet with vegan options, drag performances, music, and drinks throughout the day.
The event’s drag extravaganza is scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m. and will feature performances by Trista Storm, Snoozy Q, Savannah Ray, Mitch Please, Warren Monroe, Joey Young, Georgia Bea Cummings, Molly Belle Cummings, Kaydence McQueen, and Phoebe R. DJ KK will provide music throughout the afternoon.
Bars will offer cocktails, beer, and seltzers, while complimentary soft drinks and water will also be available for guests. Tickets are on sale now.
Friday June 5
Pittsburgh Pride Prom
6:00 – 11:00 PM @ NATIONAL AVIARY

“Born to Glow,” Pittsburgh Pride Prom 2026, will take place Friday, June 5, from 6 to 11 p.m. at the National Aviary. The 21+ event will feature an evening of live entertainment, a seated dinner, presentation of the Royal Court, dessert, and dancing.
The prom’s “Born to Glow” theme invites attendees to celebrate community, joy, and self-expression by dressing in whatever makes them feel radiant, confident, and fully themselves.
General admission doors open at 7:15 p.m. Live entertainment is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m. and the Royal Court presentation at 8:45 p.m. Dessert and dancing will continue through 10:30 p.m.
Limited on-site parking will be available, and mocktails will be offered for all guests. Organizers are encouraging attendees to plan ahead for safe transportation if drinking.
The Decades Kiki Ball
Pittsburgh Pride will present “The Decades Kiki Ball” on June 5 from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. at 460 Melwood Ave. The event will feature commentary by Icom Muk Mulan and Legendary BuddaH Von Dutch, with music by VJ THE DJ.
The ball will celebrate fashion, music, and ballroom culture across multiple eras through a wide range of competitive categories with cash prizes throughout the night. Categories include New Performance inspired by Salt-N-Pepa, New Runway themed around the Harlem Renaissance, Hand Performance centered on Michael Jackson’s iconic gloves, and a “Big Boy vs. Big Girls” Disco Era performance battle.
Additional categories will highlight styles and influences from the 1990s and 2000s, including hip-hop and R&B-inspired realness, music video aesthetics, Black dandyism, and 1990s streetwear. Competitors will also vie in face, body, sex siren, performance, and best dressed categories, with several divisions for men’s, women’s, gender-nonconforming, legendary, and icon participants.
One of the evening’s top prizes includes a $1,000 OTA Realness category themed around 1990s versus 2000s hip-hop and R&B culture. Other featured categories draw inspiration from artists and cultural icons including Destiny’s Child, Lil’ Kim, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eartha Kitt, Missy Elliott, and more.
Saturday June 6
Pittsburgh Pride Festival Day 1

Pittsburgh Pride’s 2026 festival, themed “Existence is Resistance,” will take place Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, at Allegheny Commons Park West on the North Side, near the National Aviary.
The free two-day celebration will feature vendors, artists, games, community spaces, live entertainment, and art installations throughout the park. Organizers describe the festival as a space for connection, celebration, healing, and visibility, encouraging attendees to show up fully and unapologetically as themselves.
The annual event will once again transform the park into a large-scale community gathering centered on queer joy, resistance, and collective care, bringing together Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ community and allies for a weekend of music, camaraderie, and celebration.

CHRISSY CHLAPECKA

Recognized as one of the breakout faces of #BimboTok, Chrissy Chlapecka has built a massive following through her unapologetic pop persona, satirical femininity, and infectious hyperpop sound. Her work has earned attention from Interview, NYLON, and Rolling Stone.
As both a rising pop musician and LGBTQIA+ influencer, Chlapecka’s larger-than-life aesthetic feels perfectly aligned with Pride’s love of camp, chaos, and radical self-expression.

With more than 155 million independent streams and a fiercely devoted fanbase, EMM has become known for combining cinematic visuals, explosive live performances, and deeply personal storytelling about depression, body image, religious trauma, and reclaiming power.
Her current BLACK DIAMOND era has been described as a campy performance-art exploration of the qualities women are often punished for embracing: ambition, honesty, sexuality, rage, and strength.
EMM’s work exists at the intersection of pop spectacle and emotional catharsis, making her a natural fit for the Pittsburgh Pride crowd.

New Route for 2026
The Pittsburgh Pride Parade steps off from Liberty Avenue and 11th Street Downtown at
12:00 PM. The parade travels down Liberty Avenue to 6th Street and crosses the Roberto
Clemente Bridge, up Federal Street and around South to West Commons to the Pittsburgh
Pride festival at Allegheny Commons Park West. Line-up begins at 10 AM

This year’s parade will honor four community leaders serving as grand marshals: Sarah Rosso, Maria Montaño, Reverend Deryck Tines, and Dr. Ken Ho. The four are being recognized for their longstanding contributions to Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ community through advocacy, healthcare, faith leadership, public service, and community organizing.
Montaño, an LGBTQ and labor advocate, was the first trans woman to serve as a press secretary in Pittsburgh and currently works as manager of public affairs in the Allegheny County Treasurer’s Office. She also serves on both the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs and the City of Pittsburgh LGBTQIA+ Commission.
Rosso is the executive director of the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation, which provides health and wellness services to LGBTQ and HIV-affected Pennsylvanians.

Dr. Ho is an associate professor of medicine, medical director of the Pitt Men’s Study and Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study, co-chair of AIDS Free Pittsburgh, and president of 412Step, Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ country dance organization. His work focuses on HIV prevention research, including PrEP and microbicide development.
Reverend Tines, an ordained minister for more than four decades, is also a musician and gospel performer who has appeared at venues throughout Pittsburgh and beyond. He also operates Deryck Tines Consignments in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Pride Festival Day 2

Pittsburgh Pride Festival Day 2 will close out Pride weekend on Sunday, June 7, with a second day of celebration at Allegheny Commons Park West on the North Side, near the National Aviary.
Following the Pittsburgh Pride March & Parade earlier in the day, the festival will continue with vendors, artists, games, community spaces, live entertainment, and art installations throughout the park as attendees gather to celebrate the final day of Pride weekend.
