The Pittsburgh field office of the FBI is hosting a virtual Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) event on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The FBI’s DAR event will allow the opportunity to discuss the rewards of pursuing an exciting career as an FBI special agent and the critical role a diverse workforce plays in the success of the FBI. This is a rare opportunity to hear from a panel of agents about their personal experiences and to join a chat session to ask questions and get real-time answers from the team right here in Pittsburgh.

Participants will get to talk with special agents working violent crime, cybercrime, counterterrorism, and more. They will hear from physical fitness advisors and learn about life as a new agent, training at Quantico, and working cases that make a difference in our LGBTQ Community.

The FBI has a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion that is integrated into every facet of employment, including recruitment. Special agents enforce more than 300 federal statutes and conduct criminal and national security investigations. To be successful, the FBI needs special agents from a wide range of unexpected career backgrounds. While the FBI constantly seeks to diversify their workforce, they are united in their mission to protect the people of the United States.

Candidates may apply to attend the event at fbijobs.gov. Select, “View All Jobs” and search for “DAR Pittsburgh Talent Network.”
