If you have ever wanted to learn to play hockey, this is your chance! Our coaches run beginner drills and will sometimes run a beginner scrimmage. This is geared toward people who feel comfortable on skates and want to try out playing hockey or current players who want to work on their basic skills.

Skate rental will be available for a small fee. We do not charge for the session, but a $15-20 suggested donation is always appreciated.

All attendees should RSVP ahead of time here; loaner gear can also be requested through the same form. If you have any questions, please check out our FAQ section or send us an email at info@pittsburghlgbtq.hockey.

Plan to arrive 45 minutes before the start to give yourself enough time to get dressed. This can take a while when you are a beginner!
