Join us on Saturday, October 17th, to celebrate being around for FOUR years! As usual, our anniversary party will be funeral-themed, so come dressed in your best mourning attire and ready to spit on Harold’s grave.

The funeral service will be at 9pm, led by Athena and the Chaos Twins. The rest of the night we’ll have music (DJ Faerie Fey and also our own organist!) and cheer.

Who the heck is Harold?

If you’ve got this far and you’re like whaaaaat the heck is happening and who the heck is Harold??

Honestly, that’s fair. It’s kind of a weird story.

Harold is the name of a grumpy old man ghost who inhabits 210 Grant Ave (where Maude’s Paperwing Gallery used to be). He’s a big jaggoff — he’s sexist, racist, homophobic — the works. He’s also stuck in a time loop at 210, so he can’t ever leave the area (until he finally decides to move on to the next life or whatever).

When the Maude Witches were trying to come up with a name for the bar, we thought it would be really hecking funny and make Harold SO MAD if we named our witchy they-bar after him. And we LOVE making Harold mad.
