Ms. Bernice Hummert, a candidate on both the Democratic and Republican ballots for Judge of Allegheny County Common Pleas Court, was a guest at the March 4 GAP community meeting. Although Ms. Hummert has had limited dealings with gay people in her role as an attorney, her attitude towards Gays and other oppressed minorities is quite commendable. Following her views on the present predicament of Gays brought to court on criminal charges, a brief question and answer session took place.
