Pittsburgh’s favorite bathhouse and sex-positive queer hub, Club Pittsburgh, just stepped boldly into the digital age with the launch of its brand-new app, CLUBPITT. The app officially dropped on Saturday and is now live in web browsers.
CLUBPITT offers a fully functional platform designed to enhance the bathhouse experience for both seasoned regulars and curious newcomers. The app allows users to see who is currently checked in at the Club, RSVP to upcoming events, and plan future visits with ease. It brings a sense of intentionality to a space built on spontaneity, offering a way to connect more deeply with the community that gathers there.
“At Club Pittsburgh, we are constantly looking for new ways to enhance the customer experience,” says Jason from Club Pittsburgh. “Not only while visiting, but also while planning to visit.” He notes that many guests already rely on apps like Sniffies, Grindr, and Growlr to try and figure out who’s at the Club or to ask, “Is it busy?” The CLUBPITT app brings that curiosity into one central platform.
With about 250 users already on day two of the launch, the Club team is excited to see the community start using the app as both a tool and a gathering space.
The app is currently available as a web app at clubpitt.com. An Android version is also ready, but Jason notes that distributing it without using the Google Play Store is a challenge. The Play Store places heavy restrictions on adult-related content, and avoiding those limitations allows Club Pittsburgh to keep the experience honest and uncensored.
