Yesterday, Allegheny Commons Park West came alive with queerness, community, and moments of sunshine for the Bigger Gayer Picnic, the fabulous kickoff to Pittsburgh’s Pride season! The picnic brought together folks from across the city to share food, joy, and connection in the heart of the North Side. The picnic featured a dazzling drag show hosted by the ever-iconic Luna Skye, and thanks to a generous donation from Giant Eagle, everyone got to enjoy a delicious, community cookout.
