Faces & Places: Pittsburgh Pride Parade 2024

Pittsburgh Pride weekend reached new heights celebrating 51 years of Pride in Pittsburgh with over 260,000 people attending Pride events throughout the region Thursday through Sunday. The Pittsburgh Pride march and parade set an all-time record of over 103,000 participating or attending the festivities on Saturday, June 1 alone.

Richard Parsakian served as the Parade’s Grand Marshal leading the way with his famous, giant Pride flag. Joining Richard in the Grand Marshal’s vehicle was Mrs. Pennsylvania American Amanda Neatrour. Also at the front of the parade were members of the Empire City Motorcycle Club riding alongside local LGBTQ motorcycle riders, Miss P Town Pride 2024 Anemia Blunt, and Mr. P Town Pride 2023 Joey Young. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was at the Pittsburgh Pride Festival at Allegheny Commons Park West to greet the arriving marchers.
