Delta to Dissolve

In what feels like a planned roll out to avoid accountability for alleged leadership misdeeds and to diversify their leadership, the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh has instead opted to dissolve. The announcement came by Facebook post and exclusive story with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

2020 had not been kind to the Delta Foundation. The year began with a leadership shake up after their long-time president resigned after being charged with impersonating a sheriff’s officer, continued through the summer with protests and the cancellation of Pittsburgh Pride 2020, and concluded with another leadership change over and this “sudden” dissolution.

There was no announcement regarding refunds or repayments to vendors who registered for Pittsburgh Pride 2020 or those whom Delta owes money to.
