City Of Pittsburgh Seeks Applicants To Serve As Commissioners On LGBTQIA+ Commission

Pittsburgh has a new LGBTQIA+ Commission and it is looking for applicants to serve as the first commissioners

The commission was created and approved by Pittsburgh City Council and Mayor Peduto signed the bill into law last week.

Applicants must live or work with in the City of Pittsburgh and the City is for candidates who can advise on LGBTQ experiences in education, health, homelessness, housing, and employment.

The law forming the commissions requires that the LGBTQ community is heard and that city policy plans and decisions must reflect that.

The deadline to apply is August 28th. You can apply here.
