Loud Mouth: A Monthly Poetry Reading
November’s poetry night at the Soft Spot is open mic only!
I’ve provided three prompts:
1.) The act of becoming a God or Saint of something. Either your own experience of that becoming or bearing witness to another person’s transformation to God/Saint.
2.) Title the poem “What To Do When It’s Alive Outside and You Are Elsewhere.”
3.) Write a poem or prose piece about going through a box of someone else’s belongings that you’ve become responsible for. This can be a family member, friend, or stranger, and it can be any circumstance.
Please bring a piece inspired by any of these prompts (or all three! Up to six minutes to share!). All artists welcome even though this is a sapphic space. I hope to see you there. 💕
