Do you have a passion for paints? Do beads make your fingers itch to make bangles? Does clay bring out your creative side? Join our Project Silk team EVERY WEDNESDAY for Craft Night!
Each week, you can drop by QMNTY Center between 4 and 6 p.m. and relax with the craft of the week. All supplies are provided for you – as are snacks! You’ll meet fellow crafters, and if you’re looking for a free STI test, the Project Silk team can get you tested for FREE!
Some of our previous craft projects have included:
💍Jewelry making
🌈Vision boards
🪴Sculpting clay pots
🧶Knitting and crocheting
At Project Silk, you’ll find a safe space for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and allied youth, offered by Allies for Health + Wellbeing in partnership with Proud Haven and TransYOUniting. Project Silk is an early HIV intervention and educational program designed to reach BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and gender inclusive individuals ages 13 to 29 within Pittsburgh. Our activities take place at QMNTY Center — 525 E. Ohio St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
