What’s Queer & Going on in September

September is stacked with queer magic. As we say goodbye to the summer heat and hello to cooler nights and cozy vibes, the queer and trans communities of Pittsburgh (and beyond!) are throwing open their doors, stages, studios, and dance floors to bring us a full spectrum of joy, protest, play, and connection. Whether you’re strapping on gloves a a queer fight club, dancing your heart out, getting witchy, or belting your favorite bops at karaoke, there’s something for every flavor of queer this month. From radical healing spaces and history-making performances to drag brunches, burlesque blowouts, and community craft nights, September isn’t slowing down.

And don’t forget, you can pre-order the Fall/Winter issue of QBurgh Magazine right now! Packed with queer stories, local art, community highlights, and plenty of tea, this issue drops in early October and you won’t want to miss it. TAP TO PRE-ORDER NOW!

Got something queer and fabulous coming up? If you’re hosting an LGBTQ event in the Pittsburgh area or know one we should hype, submit it to our community calendar for FREE and help keep the queer joy flowing all year long!
