Stonewall Sports Pittsburgh Ultimate League Launching in 2023

The Board of the Stonewall Alliance, the nonprofit that oversees the Stonewall Sports Pittsburgh leagues, voted to approve an Ultimate Frisbee expansion league to launch in late spring 2023. The new ultimate frisbee league will be overseen by Commissioner William Bainbridge.

The approval of the expansion league comes after two trial sessions that were held in June.

The league will follow rules from USA Ultimate and is looking for volunteers to help launch the first season. Those interested can apply at StonewallAlliance.org.

Season dates and locations were not announced.
