Steel City Softball Returns for an Exciting 2026 Season

The Steel City Softball League is returning to kick off another exciting season, and players of all experience levels are invited to join the fun! This year’s season promises not only great softball but also a stronger sense of community and a full calendar of events designed to bring players together on and off the field.

“We’re really focused on growing the league this year, not just in numbers, but in the kinds of experiences we offer our players. We’ve got some exciting new events in the works, and we can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and first-time players,” said Leah McKown, Membership Chairperson.

The 2026 season also marks 45 years of Steel City Softball!

The league offers three levels of play, making it easy for both seasoned athletes and brand-new players to find the right fit. To celebrate the start of the season, the league is hosting a Registration Party at Title 9 PGH on March 22, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, where attendees can register, meet players and teams, and connect with the community.

Registration is now open at SteelCitySoftball.org.

No Team? No Problem! You don’t need to have a full squad to participate. Register as a Free Agent, and the league will match you with a team that fits your vibe and skill level. Nobody gets left on the sidelines!
