Queer & on the Ballot: Building Power, Not Just Campaigns

The LGBTQ+ Victory Institute held a free Public Leadership Summit here in the ‘Burgh, engaging participants in collaborative workshops and discussions on how to run for office or enter public service as an out LGBTQ+ individual, as well as network with local LGBTQ+ leaders and elected officials who are fighting to advance equality in the region. 

Nebby Nick spoke with Itay Balely of the Victory Institute and State Representative Abigail Salisbury about how queer and trans folks can run for public office.
