Five years ago, we weren’t just facing a global pandemic, we were reckoning with isolation, fear, and a silencing of queer voices. We still are. That’s why QBurgh was born. Out of necessity, out of love, and out of a radical belief that our community deserves to see itself, celebrate itself, and stay informed on our own terms.
Since then, QBurgh has become more than a digital publication. It’s a gathering place, a storytelling archive, a calendar of queer joy, a spotlight for LGBTQ+ owned businesses, and a home for all of us who believe that visibility, honesty, and connection can change everything.
Today, we celebrate five years of this journey. Five years of telling our own stories. Five years of covering everything from Pride to protests, drag brunches to healthcare justice, queer youth organizing to the power of chosen family. We’ve done it all with love, with community, and with you.
And the best part? We’re just getting started.
