Pittsburgh is set to welcome a unique blend of culinary and fashion artistry with the third annual “O’Noir: The Experience” on October 11. Organized by the O’Noir Foundation, the event aims to raise funds for LGBTQIA+ organizations that support homeless youth, young adults, and marginalized communities.

Launched in 2021 by Sidney Sokoloff and Christina Stein, the O’Noir Foundation recognized an opportunity to merge Spokoloff’s hospitality expertise with Stein’s passion for fashion. “Fashion allowed me to express myself and find acceptance, and I want to share that with the world,” Christina said.

The inaugural event in 2021 raised $5,000 for Proud Haven, and in 2022, O’Noir had tripled its fundraising to $15,000. In 2024, the foundation aims to surpass these records. All proceeds will benefit Proud Haven and The Children’s Home, providing vital support to vulnerable populations.

The event promises a culinary experience like no other, with each chef representing a unique facet of the Pittsburgh community, elevating every dish to a new level of artistry. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to indulge in the creations of multiple local culinary icons under one roof.

Sokoloff emphasized the importance of the event, saying, “O’Noir Foundation started as a way to give back during challenging times, focusing on what truly matters. As someone who’s part of the LGBTQIA+ community, it’s crucial to support those in need, especially now when the world is so uncertain.”
